Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing RFPs, reviewing tenders, and drafting contracts, coordinating closely with design, construction, legal, and external parties.
  • Collaborating with Cost Consultants to develop estimates and prepare construction tender documents.
  • Administering consultancy contracts, certifying payments, and expertly assessing variations and claims.
  • Providing essential cost and contractual advice to internal teams, while safeguarding company interests.
  • Working collaboratively as a vital team player across design and construction departments.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-graduation experience, with at least 5 years specifically in high-rise building construction.
  • Strong preference for professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS, CIOB).
  • Exceptional analytical, financial, and technical skills of a seasoned QS.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written English) and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Colombo is a significant advantage.
