QA QC Engineer – Structure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate technical data sheets of structural materials. Ensure materials and all related documents comply
    with project specifications before submission to consultants for approval.
  • Develop and submit method statements for all structural works. Coordinate with consultants to secure
    timely approvals for these documents.
  • Submit inspection requests and coordinate site inspections. Supervise third-party testing to verify
    compliance with structural standards. Conduct timely inspections and tests of ongoing structural work.
  • Maintain meticulous inspection records, test reports, and other quality documentation. Prepare QA/QC
    reports for internal and client review.
  • Ensure strict adherence to local and international structural codes (e.g., IS, ACI, BSI). Monitor construction
    activities to ensure they align with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and contractors on quality issues. Provide feedback and implement
    corrective actions for any non-conformances.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained for accurate measurements.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in a civil/structural capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of structural procedures and excellent experience in civil works.
  • In-depth understanding of local and international structural codes (IS, ACI, BSI).
  • Familiarity with the project lifecycle in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and
    general construction environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with various teams and
    external parties.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and ensure high attention to detail.
