Financial Analyst / Asst. Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Financial Analysis

Conduct macro-financial and sectoral analysis covering banking & financial services, capital
markets, fintech, professional services, logistics, and real estate.
Assess the economic and fiscal impact of proposed policies, incentives, and regulatory frameworks related to Port City operations.
Develop financial models (DCF, scenario and sensitivity analysis) to evaluate Port City development initiatives, anchor investments, and sector-specific strategies.

Policy & Planning Support

Support the design and evaluation of incentive structures, tax frameworks, and offshore financial models in alignment with national macroeconomic objectives.
Analyze global financial center benchmarks to identify best practices applicable to Colombo Port City.

Data, Research & Insights

Track and analyze key macroeconomic indicators.
Monitor global financial market trends and assess implications for investor appetite and Port City positioning.
Build and maintain internal databases and dashboards for strategic monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

2-3 years professional experience.
CFA (Level I/II), MBA, or postgraduate qualification in Economics/Finance.
Experience working on large infrastructure, urban development, or financial centre projects.
Exposure to public sector, multilateral institutions, or international consulting firms.
