Executive – Commercial

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify all received payment applications and invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely circulation within specified deadlines.
  • Prepare, analyze, and process payment applications and invoices for all project-related departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all payments strictly comply with contractual terms, company policies, and internal financial controls.
  • Upload verified and approved payments into the online payment system for management review and authorization.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department on cost code allocation and payment arrangements.
  • Maintain and periodically update the Project Cost Summary, Commercial Registers, and ISO documentation records.
  • Prepare and provide updated cost summaries to relevant departments upon request.
  • Support Managers in addressing commercial matters and respond to related correspondence as required.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure compliance with Head Office (HQ) requirements and established commercial workflows.
  • Provide support for day-to-day operational activities and carry out additional duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related degree from a recognized university.
  • Professional qualifications (partly completed or completed) in CIMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial, finance, contract administration, or payment processing functions.
  • Experience in handling project-related payments, invoice verification, and cost monitoring will be an added advantage.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Package (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in handling Payment Systems
