Responsibilities
Economic research to help drive Strategy and Policy
Assist in developing a proposition for various developments within Colombo Port City (CPC) by identifying comparative advantages and prepare financial models to showcase return profiles.
Undertake research and evaluation of sources of demand, both local and international, for real estate at Colombo Port City and benchmark against available other real estate investment opportunities.
Liaise with relevant Real Estate Consultants in reviewing and building financial models to ascertain return profile of various developments within Port City.
Liaise with Government in promoting and implementation of REITs in Sri Lanka to support the development of the real estate sector.
Business Development, Corporate Finance and Research Initiatives that would support to market Port City.
Key Requirements
Academic or professional qualification in Economics, Finance or Accounting
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Stock Brokering field, specific experience in Financial Modelling.
Full/Part qualification in CFA.
Ability to build complex financial models
Identifying key drivers when analyzing return profile of investments and to have a good handle of macro and micro economic impact on the project
Ability to carry out detailed and impactful economic research to influence policy initiatives
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Good presentation skills
