Responsibilities

Check the accuracy of accounts payable and receivables of the company and its subsidiary and posting in to Accounting System.
Filling the tax return (VAT, SSCL, WHT, etc) in timely manner and arrange the tax payment before the deadline.
Liaise with the Inland revenue department for tax related matters.
Check the accuracy of the payment vouchers of the company and its subsidiary
Prepare correspondence for IRD and banking related matters when it’s needed.
Identify the fixed asset as per the Accounting standards and maintain Fixed asset register.
Prepare and issue Invoices accurately to the customers in timely manner.
Maintain Invoice summaries and debtor summaries and submit it to management when its required.
Follow up with the customers for the due payments.
Assist to do the annual internal and external Audits.
Liaise with the internal department of the company and its subsidiaries to facilitate the financial
requirement.

Key Requirements

At least 3-4 years’ experience in similar role together with Degree in accounting /Finance or partly qualification in CMA /ACCA/CIMA/ CA
Knowledge in Accounting Standards
Hands on experience with handling Tax Related Matters
Fluency in accounting System and MS office package
Excellent Verbal and written communication in English
Ability work under pressure
